This article is a review of medical literature, devoted to the women’s quality of life with urogynaecologic disorders. Urinary incontinence is a sign of involuntary leakage. Urinary incontinence has a destructive influence on the quality of life and limits physical, professional and sexual activity. Women’s incontinence is often a factor that causes feelings of shame and embarrassment. Untreated one can lead to withdrawal from social and professional life. Moreover, it can be the cause of isolation and disorders of the mental sphere. The early implementation of diagnostics permits toapply an appropriate treatment method and contributes to the improvement of the women’s quality of life with urogynaecological disorders.
