Zika virus has been known for 40 years of the twentieth century. Spread by mosquitoes of the genus Aedes. It is transmitted from person to person through sexual contact, from mother to child and infusions of infected blood. The symptoms are not specific and resemble small cold. There is no vaccine Zika. Treatment consists primarily for alleviating unpleasant symptoms associated with the disease. For prevention include protection against mosquitoes and avoid areas related to the virus. The objective is to raise public awareness of the very modern problem of the world, where we are all at risk.
