The aim of the article is to introduce the issue of the treatment of oncological diseases. The National Programme for Combating Cancer comes in live. The program envisages, among others, to increase access to modern methods of treatment of oncological diseases. The program is not compatible with reality. Minister of Health Regulations defines the scope of the guaranteed procedures. While the National Health Fund, through its regulations specify the conditions of granting those procedures. Despite some legislative changes oncology continues to work with the constraints imposed by the limits, sometimes limits only time-related realization of benefits.
