Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic and inflammatory disease from group of autoimmune diseases. RA affects not only joints, but also leads to multi‑organ failure. Early diagnosis and treatment gives opportunity to control symptoms and minimize further complications. In this case, lab tests, serological tests and imaging are used, but anti‑CCP levels are actually the most specific blood test in RA early diagnosis.

Key words: RA – rheumatoid arthritis, anti‑CCP, RF (rheumatoid factor).
