Pain and discomfort that occurs in the foot a large part of the adult population. The most common cause of these ailments is the occurrence of the calcaneal spur and fascial fascia inflammation. Researchers question the connection between heel spurs and the occurrence of pain, as 2/3 cases of hepatic spondylosis are asymptomatic. Etiopathogenesis of the calcaneal spur is still not sufficiently recognized. It is difficult to make a precise diagnosis due to a similar clinical picture of individuals. There are many risk factors predisposing to the occurrence of heel spurs, such as overweight, female sex, old age, standing mode of work, poorly matched shoes, past injuries. Standard treatment procedures include manual therapy, stretching exercises, physical procedures and kinesiology taping.

Key words: calcaneal spur, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, pain.
