Introduction. Intrauterine fetal death define his death, which occurred after 22 weeks of gestation and was confirmed by ultrasound examination. The most common cause is abruption of the placenta. Time to remain a dead fetus in the uterus is essential for assessing the risk of life‑threatening maternal conditions. The most serious complication is a life‑threatening syndrome disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Aim. Report of the case of 26-year‑old woman who has a 33 week pregnant pregnancy diagnosed withered, as a consequence of severe pre‑eclampsia. The analysis of the action taken in this case, and compares them with the methods described in the literature. Conclusions. Monitoring of women and measures taken helped avoid life‑threatening situations.
