The purpose of the article is discussion of the problems of communicative competence amoung hospital registration staff. In particular the role of motivation, knowledge staff skills and the contact with patient have been analysed. The basic question is the importance of these aspects of medical services registration concerns achieving standards of efficiency clarity and appropriateness. Conclusions from the discussion can be applaied in practice.
