Spinal pains were considered as a problem of adults, especially of the elderly. Recent research however has proved that this problem touches more and more number of children and youth. This change in age structure of people suffering from this problem results mainly from the modification of lifestyle. Children are less and less physically active. They spend more and more time in front of TV and computer screens, which leads to structural and functional changes in movement system. The causes of this issue need to be analyzed in case of creating more efficient prevention and more accurate treatment of spinal pains in children and youth.
